One of the main tasks of the Belarusian agro-industrial complex is to fill domestic shelves with pork products. At the same time, in addition to saturating the domestic market and increasing export potential, it is necessary to work on reducing production costs. Yes, we are talking about intensification of the industry. One of the measures we are taking is to improve fodder production and make fodder cheaper by making more active use of local resources. Since imported raw materials are not affordable for every farm, mainly due to the price factor, there is an excellent alternative - organic sapropel from the "Udhodva" deposit in the Pruzhany region, extracted by the ALC "Agrosemproduct".
Experiments were carried out by the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Research Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus on animal husbandry" in the conditions of the pig-breeding school-farm of SE "ZhodinoAgroPlemElita", Smolevichi district. The studies were supervised by the head of the laboratory of pig feeding, candidate of agricultural sciences Linkevich Sergey Aleksandrovich. Three groups of the Belarusian meat breed were determined for the experiment: weaned piglets (Table 1), growing pigs (Table 2) and young fattening pigs (Table 3).
